Wembley is a small town west of Grande Prairie with an outsized claim to fame: the Pipestone Creek bonebed nearby is one of the densest concentrations of dinosaur fossils anywhere in the world. The Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum was built to hold and interpret what comes out of it, and it draws visitors to Wembley from well beyond the Peace Country.
